In a concerning development, 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist Tori Kelly has been hospitalized for severe blood clots, as reported by TMZ. The incident occurred on Sunday night while she was out dining with friends in downtown Los Angeles. Kelly passed out after mentioning that her heart was beating rapidly, prompting her friends to take immediate action.
Following the alarming episode, Tori Kelly was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). According to TMZ, doctors have identified blood clots in her lungs and legs and are closely monitoring to determine if there are any clots around her heart. Managed by SB Projects and recently signed to Epic Records, Tori Kelly began her journey with the label earlier this year. Addressing her excitement to hit the road again, Tori Kelly shared with People magazine after the release of “Missin U,” “I miss touring so much. I was actually on a world tour right as COVID was happening, and it was heartbreaking to have to cancel that. Since then, I haven’t been able to tour. That’s one of the most exciting things I’m looking forward to. I can’t give any details or anything yet, but I cannot wait just to see fans again and belt out these songs with them.”
