Kanye West, the celebrated hip-hop artist, and his partner, Bianca Censori, have once again found themselves at the center of controversy, this time stemming from their recent escapade in Venice during the prestigious Venice International Film Festival.
Their explicit behavior aboard a water taxi has resulted in their banning by Venezia Turismo Motascafi, one of the city’s prominent boat companies. After images surfaced showing the couple engaged in compromising activities on one of their boats, Venezia Turismo Motascafi released a statement declaring that “West and Censori will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats.” They further distanced themselves “from such acts and behavior.”
A spokesperson for the boat company clarified that the boat’s driver had been unaware of the situation due to heavy boat traffic. If he had been aware of the “obscenities,” he would have immediately taken action and reported the incident.
This isn’t the first time Kanye West, also known as Ye, has courted controversy. Last year, he faced severe criticism for making violently anti-Semitic remarks on Alex Jones’ InfoWars show. These comments led to multiple suspensions from social media platforms and severed ties with major brands like Gap, Balenciaga, and Adidas.
Throughout the summer, the couple has consistently attracted attention due to their unconventional choice of attire. Shortly after causing a stir in Italy for wearing extremely revealing outfits, including West going barefoot, Bianca drew further controversy by donning a see-through two-piece ensemble that left little to the imagination.
These fashion choices have led to criticism, with some arguing that their revealing garments amount to “public indecency.” This offense could result in a fine of up to €309, according to the ruling of the Italian Constitutional Court.
Commenting on the situation, one individual stated, “I wish the police would arrest these two for their ignorant behavior. They are making a mockery of the country.”
