Music fans united for a celebration of all things country Sunday at the CMT Music Awards in Austin, Texas.
For 2023, the show migrated from its longtime home Nashville to the Lone Star State, where top fan-voted honors include Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, and Group/Duo Video of the Year. Country music faithful cast ballots online ahead of the show to determine winners.
The CBS-aired awards featured a who’s-who of country talent and a handful of genre-hopping collaborations. Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban performed. So did Gwen Stefani with Carly Pearce and Alanis Morissette with Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards and Morgan Wade.
