The actress, who plays Siobhan “Shiv” Roy on the Emmy-winning HBO drama, revealed a baby bump during the New York City premiere of the series’ fourth and final season, airing Sunday. Snook, 35, took photos with her co-stars while wearing a black dress revealing that she’ll soon be expecting her first child with husband Dave Lawson.
The couple, who are expecting the baby to arrive in mid-May, are leaving the baby’s sex a surprise.
“You just sort of block it out,” Snook told the “Today” show Tuesday when discussing how hard it is to not think about if the baby will be male or female.
During Monday’s red carpet premiere, Snook told Entertainment Tonight that she was pregnant while filming Season 4 of “Succession” but that you “couldn’t super tell” because she wasn’t showing at the time.
The Australian actress opened up about her 2021 marriage with comedian Lawson in an interview with Australian Vogue. Their longtime platonic friendship grew into something more while they locked down together in the pandemic.
“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic. We’ve just never been single at the same time,” Snook told the magazine. “I proposed and we got married in February in my backyard.”
The actress said in the 2021 interview she wore a Chloé coat and matched footwear with her groom as they wore Blundstone boots, or as she called them, “matching blunnies.”
After chatting Tuesday with the “Today” show’s Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly, the show gifted her with a “Today” show onesie for the little one.
