Union District Council 33 As the strike nears the end of the fourth day the municipal workers union is struggling to stop the garbage from filling the streets Brotherly love the city streets and the smell is unbearable in the heat, and said they have dumped all the garbage that is close to these dump sites and we were in Clearfield last night which is just a black one behind Allegheny where we are now and all the residents are blocking the road through all the trash in the middle of the road. So the police, look at that, but that’s what’s happening. They are with the smell and illegal dumping. So Oiton. Sois terrible and now it’s getting worse because we PA Home Supply is a thriving business that we did a story with before who helped us here in another story. Stop dumping at this time, but it’s growing so the worst dump in the city that we talked about last night has gotten worse. And the horrendous illegal dumping, PA home supply businesses mostly illegally dumped debris now including rolls of wet carpet and old furniture that must have been lying around for years will eventually end up being dumped like this sowing machine tablet during a city labor strike. Like I call a city I call the commission and ask them I get help so, you know if I don’t stop then they keep coming down the yellow path in Chelsea. Yeah a lot more they just don’t stop. They still don’t know dumping but does it personally help to deal with the parade of illegals a bit? Oh, it’s not here.. Stop doing it. And what have they done? Still all they do is carter for business and you’re trying to do business and soon. It’s going to be impossible to do business here, right. Okay. So where the police said to rebel and throw things like that on the street because they dumped it in their neighborhood here in Kensington. So I’ll make sure you see it before the night is over. . They’re just vigilant but sad. One resident had a good idea. Why or find a way to write a PPA number two because it blocks a bike lane on the street and sidewalk and it would certainly be worth it for you to be able to take some parking spaces without putting money in.
A city worker is set to resume entry. The eighth day of the strike has seen the anger and focus on trash continue to see the cities from Center City to the streets. Here are the people from the 25th Precinct and Spruce are a little more than happy because Cruz came out a few minutes ago and they cleaned up all the trash around this dumpster, but the dumpster is filling up. Again, union officials said they haven’t set a time or location yet because all of this is going on for the eighth day we were there when Cruz brought in four front end loaders to put all the trash into a few trucks, but when you’re trying to move 2000 tons of trash a day it can go that way pretty quickly because the city is trying to keep up. We are in different states
Some of the temporary drop-off sites are overflowing with dumpster bags while others are surrounded by trash that includes bulky items, which city officials say are not allowed. This is not a free pass for illegal dumping around the city of Philadelphia. This is only for residential trash. And that’s just one of the nearly $9,000 workers who make up District Council 33, which includes sanitation and street workers. So the city has been impacted in many ways, but the last thing people want to see on their blogs is more trash sitting in the scorching heat and rain that is yet to come.
