Donald Trump asks Christie a few words about Texas. The first person there that I saw on television was Trump saying he did a great job with the governor. Christie says thank you because under your leadership the people of Texas are incredibly strong. It’s absolutely terrible and it’s heartbreaking to see the way these families have been hurt as this flash flood happened, you know, the governor activated his emergency response management director who is incredible. Please keep in mind sir we deployed right away as you know the Coast Guard. We also had some assets outside of Customs and Border Protection to come in and help with rescue and degree clearance so that we could get the roads open and people could get the help they needed. As soon as the GTA party got on site I got a briefing from all the emergency response responders on how united they were and and focused on the fact that they were there to save lives to rescue people who were still alive and reunite them with their family members. This is a great response from the federal government to how FEMA should be working and to help these families get through this terrible situation. Christie said we are still looking for people, we are still looking for many little girls and other family members who were camping by the river until the rescue is done. The parents who were there immediately after this incident were the parents who were looking for their children and picking them up, they were pulling their daughter’s stuffed animal out of the mud and finding their daughter’s shoes. That cabin that could be laid out and just hugs and comfort people are very important and very grateful that God’s hand was in this whole situation and and with that it’s time for all of us in this country to remember that we were created to serve each other. We were created by God to take care of each other and when we do that we are happy. We can walk alongside people on their bad days and help them get through it and get out of it that we can do it that we can continue to live a life that God has intended for us. So they are grateful for you that day who told so many people that I met you and everything you said in Christy’s need when families were waiting at a church to identify their children and I called with a family. Christy said I am proud of the people who stepped up and immediately the Coast Guard came when they came. Even the night before and she was still there trying to facilitate all these parents grieving their children and finding them so that the power of people is incredible one of the things that I asked there today is that they all have an escort or a counselor when the parents come from that point when they come to the camp they have someone with them when they are going and looking for their children’s things. Very emotional but also just so sad. But you don’t know about that with the first responders and with us with our first responders and a lot of other people and we have brought a lot of helicopters from there. And we and we got them there quickly and they were some good in Texas too, but the response was incredible and the fact that we were so well off, I don’t know that I don’t even think it’s a political thing. But we got along so well, and it was so united. I think a lot of life is saying that it could be as bad as it was. And you can always double or triple that. This thing was really scary. Congratulations. First Lady it’s going to be a trip and we don’t want to get in anyone’s way because what happens to the President of the United States ruins it and I don’t want anyone to focus on us. But it’s possible that they could save some of them which you know, it’s a lot of area such a big area. And you know probably unlikely at this point, but it could be that they’re thinking that there might be a possibility but what a sad situation and good job
