Hakim Jeffries speaks before the vote on President Trump’s “big beautiful bill.”

King Jeffries just finished that speech and it broke the record for the longest speech in Congress. It looks like the Republicans are going to run the ball, but for a while, what was known as the magic minute, Hakeem Jeffries. He was there at that podium, drawing attention to himself, it was a bad 8-hour delay for the American people and for their constituents. It clearly can’t be over and the Republicans are going to get this victory, but it was still a physical feat. Kevin McCarthy went back to when he did something similar in 20 21 in dress pants, it’s a tough physical feat to talk that long and just be there. I can see the support for Hurricane Jeffries. The Democrats are clapping for him, they admit that he made a few attacks on Republicans there. It’s on Republican members who are in battleground districts who will have a hard time explaining their votes here. So I think that was the other side of the warm applause. He realized that the Democrats have done basically everything that a minority leader can do in this situation where you know, patting yourself on the back and seeing that people are very happy that that record was broken, but not just that that record was broken, but one can imagine exactly what the Democrats are planning to do to sow the seeds that you were talking about that these long-time builders’ districts will now have conversations again. So, and so it seems like they are planning to sow the seeds of conversation there. Jack, looking at what’s in the bill, you know that Republicans want to cut taxes, or increase immigration spending, increase border security, increase defense spending, or the impact on healthcare for the poorest people in the country. Do you think that Democrats will go back to those districts when they think about access to healthcare, cutting some of the Medicaid funding and funding hospitals. I think this is going to be something that’s really going to resonate with the Democratic voters, the deficit increase is something that’s really going to resonate in battleground districts because a lot of these Republicans, it goes against a lot of what Republicans, including Donald Trump, have been talking about for years. So this is one area where Democrats are willing to be more open to deficit increase than Republicans, which they can really point to as a broken promise. It’s going to be the health care side and then the deficit side. Hakeem Jeffries has said a lot more about these issues in our eight record-breaking speeches, to tell the American people that no matter what the outcome is on this unique day. We’re going to push. We’re going to push. We’re going to push. We’re going to push for our children. Keep pushing for our seniors. Keep pushing for a veteran. Keep pushing for our unions. Keep pushing for our farmers. Keep pushing for our dreamers. Keep pushing for working-class Americans. Keep pushing for everyone who wants to be part of the middle class. Keep pushing for the poor. Keep pushing for the sick. Keep pushing for the oppressed. Keep pushing for minimal harm. Keep pushing for the left behind. Keep pushing for the rule of law. Keep pushing for the American way of life. Keep pushing for democracy. We will push. Until the victory is one. I shout. And the words I say to that record-setting speech and the promise are there. To push, what do I think about Jack, I think that Democrats have been widely criticized for not turning very deeply since they lost the election with Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket. Not only in the midterms, but also looking at the next presidential election. Do you understand that Hakeem Jeffries? Probably secured his place on a bench for the Democrats. Read I think only time will tell but there is no doubt that he is increasing his nationalism.
